Boy's playdowns are Tuesday Nov 26th and Wed Nov 27th ~ schedule to come.

November News!  Knights of Columbus tournament in Prince George this weekend for our boys and girls volleyball teams...Go Eagles Go!  Our School Christmas Choir will be starting up again next week, please look for forms coming home with those children that have shown an interest.  Also be sure to check your calendars and weekly reminders for  ongoing updates!  God Bless!

School is open Wednesday Sept 4th Full Day 8:30 am - 2:30 pm, Kindergarten starts Thursday Sept 5th 1/2 day 8:30 - 11:45 am.  School Bus will follow it's normal schedule.  Supply lists available at both Walmart and Staples - Quesnel, please ask behind desk if you can't find them.  Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Wed June 5th after school Track & Field practice with Thursday being the Track Meet @ Correlieau starting at 9am.
No 9am Mass on Friday June 7th as Father Martin is away, however; there is a school mass on Sunday June 9th @ 11am everyone welcome!

Confirmation Students will be having their Stole making tomorrow; Wednesday, May 22nd at 12:15 pm  in our school library.  Parish Prayer partners are invited to help in this along with any parents that would like to come.  They will be confirmed by the Bishop David Munroe this Sunday May 26th at the 11 am Mass.  There will be a pancake breakfast served by the Knights of Columbus to follow for a very reasonable price.  Please plan to come and support the confirments!

Track & Field starts today after school 2:45 pm - 3:45 pm please pick up your child by 4 pm.  Following practices will be Thursday May 23rd, Monday May 27th, Thursday May 30th, , Monday May 3rd and Wednesday May 5th, with the Track Meet to be held at Correlieu School Thursday May 6th Mr. Hilbert will be looking after this event.

 Also, Terry Wilson Soccer Tournament in Prince George will be held Friday May 31st we will be needing Parents to drive to this event.  Practices will be held during school hours and forms for this event will be coming home for signing. Mr. Weston will be looking after this event.

Sunshine for the 10-mile Cross Country Run!  Remember No School Monday May 20th -Victoria Day.  Check the calendar for many up and coming field trips / events etc.  Enjoy your weekend!

X-Country Run is Friday May 17th @ 10 Mile Lake - not Thursday as previously stated in Weekly reminders.Sorry for any confusion regarding this.

Ready Set Learn - starts tonight; Tuesday April 23rd, Wednesday April 24th and Monday April 29th from   6 pm - 7 pm, not 6:30 as the calendar stated.  Children 3-5 years of age are invited  Please let the office know if you are planning to attend.

Next Thursday April 25th is our Children's Hospital Fundraiser ~ Bring $5 and purchase a button to wear your jeans and support the Children's Hospital!  Hopefully our children will never need to use this facility but I'm sure many of us know someone who has.  God Bless!

  PSG Garage Sale Fundraiser this Saturday April 20th, please drop off any donations tomorrow during school hours and plan to come on Saturday, starting 8:30 am till 2 pm.  Get your raffle tickets in to the office if they are sold.  Ladies Loonie Night ; May 10th Tickets for sale at Regency Chrysler.

Our Lobster Dinner School Fundraiser is next Saturday April 27th, please purchase your tickets at the school office and or plan to volunteer or donate to make this evening a success.

Ready Set Learn is happening Wednesday April 24th Please register at the office if you or a friend is considering bringing their pre-schooler.

Hi everyone!  Just to clarify the Basketball for the week as it is coming quickly to a close, yes there is basketball practise after school today; Monday March 4th for boys . Girls playdowns will be tomorrow Tuesday March 5th with possibly March 6th if they win.  Boys have a game this Thursday March 7th @ Lakeview after school. Monday March 11th will be a practise for Boys with their playdowns on Tuesday March 12th  & possibly 13th. Hope that clears up any misunderstandings.  God Bless!

Oops correction already; Thursday Feb 21st is the girls Basketball game not Wednesday!

Half way through February and Lenten Season has begun!  What a wonderful time to draw near to God and all that is important.  Reminders for all that Monday is our last day of skiing so there will be no school bus after school for bus students.  We are having a fundraiser meeting for the upcoming Lobster Dinner @ 6:30 pm on Monday Feb 18th downstairs at the hall .  Please feel welcome to join us if you are able to help with any ideas. Registration packages will be going out next week for the 2013-2014 School Year, please complete and return as soon as possible so we can plan our classrooms and teaching requirements.  Wednesday Feb 20th  Basketball game for the girls on Thursday Feb 21st after school; here at St. Ann's School verses Cariboo Christian School. Friday Feb 22nd is the Holy Childhood Jeans Day as well as basketball students will be heading to Prince George for the Knights of Columbus Tournament.  God Bless!

Catholic Schools Week is coming to a close, thank you to everyone who took time to come out and join in the activities!  Just a reminder that Monday Feb 11th is Family Day for BC and there will be no school.  Tuesday Feb 12th will be Shrove Tuesday and a Pancake Lunch is being provided free for the students thank you to Lynette Winsor and the PSG for that!  Wednesday Feb 13th and Friday Feb 15th are ski Days for grades 4-7 and there will be No after school bus service on these days.  Also, for those who observe Ash Wednesday there will be two Services; one at 9AM and another at 7PM  There will be basketball for Boys/Girls on Tuesday and Thursday next week to make up for the lost days.  Friday Feb 15th - Popcorn Day has been postponed to a later date which we will inform you of in the days to come. Catholic Schools Week is well into action and the kids are looking great!  Lots of School Spirit flowing around the place.  From 1-2 pm today is the School Air Bands for any parents who can make it out to watch.  Tomorrow don't forget their favorite jerseys to wear and they will have a Basketball Free Throw from 12:30 on with the Knights of Columbus.  Also; any parents considering signing their children up for Kindergarten we are having our Open House tomorrow with two times to choose from;  11 AM or 6:30 PM  Please bring along any friends who might also be interested in seeing what our school has to offer.  Look forward to seeing many new and old (not literally of course) faces!  God Bless!  Shannon/Lonnie

We are over half way through January and things are rolling along...thank you to all those who came out to support the Fun Fair last Friday, I hear it was lots of fun and a great crowd! A big thank you to Christine Novak who coordinated this along with many parent volunteers.  Basketball is well on the way, check your calendar in case of any last minute changes.  Pizza Day is tomorrow and new order forms should be back now, as well as the Anti Bullying t-shirt forms.  Please note if your child has a pink t-shirt at home they may also wear that.  Hot lunch forms went home yesterday (due back this Friday) along with the PSG meeting minutes, if you are missing these please contact us at the office and we will re-send with your child.  Friday is Holy Childhood Jeans Day.  Enjoy your week everyone!

Welcome Back Everyone!  The year is well on it's way....Ukranian New Years Eve this Saturday Jan 12th for anyone interested.  Pizza Lunch  tomorrow; Wednesday Jan 9th,   for all those who have pre-ordered. We will be sending our new Pizza lunch forms for the upcoming  months in the next couple days.  Friday morning is our school mass at 9 am, as well as Sunday Jan 13th @ 11am, bring a non-perishable item.  Everyone welcome to join!  Come and hear the last of the Christmas Carols for the Christmas season.  Popcorn day this Friday Jan 11th Basketball forms will also be coming home for your child to sign up as Basketball begins next Monday Jan 14th for the boys and Wed Jan 16th for the girls.  God Bless everyone!
